When his brilliant younger brother is discovered wandering naked in the market, stark, raving mad, the nameless storyteller looks back on Rayo’s life – a life of questioning and absurdity. Wilfully impetuous and with the resourcefulness of his youth, Rayo challenges the corrupt systems that control the lives of his fellow countrymen. He starts with a grotesque school bully and works his way up to an eventual headlong collision with the centre of political power.
